Doc Brown Interview
Furthering the amazing success** of our former birthday feature K2B10 we're keeping it going into the new school year. September 28thkicks off our first back to school event after a a great* summer.
Hiya! How's u? (Yes that's the first question sorry but it's hard to think of 10 whole ones)
I'm good. Post bike ride sweaty.
Got any good stories from the summer break?
Probably the best is at Glastonbury when, in avoidance of a proper shower I bathed my genitals with what I thought was a bottle of Evian that my wife had decanted vodka into.
Ouch... so what can we expect from the show on the 28th?
A road test of some new material so keep those expectations low.
That's cool what else? (Cheeky follow up question)
Not much else. I'll be wearing some clothes and holding a microphone.
Can you tell us a bit about what you've been up to lately?
Been touring with Gervais all year really, it's been a lot of fun... also Just finished a new comedy thriller for Sky with Rosie Perez. Hopefully it'll be something a bit different. Now I'm shooting a drama with Sheridan Smith.
Who have you been watching lately?
Mostly a creepy guy who sits on the wall outside my flat eating Tangy Toms.
Any thing you're liking that's funny on TV?
The last thing that made me laugh out loud was probably The Idiotsitter.
What was your last dream (this is when the questions fizzle out a bit)
Wish I could but I can never remember them.
Got any fond memories of Knock2Bag?
It's always good. My favourite was probably playing it with Stephen Merchant when he pulled his bafta out of a satchel during his set.
Is this the worst interview you've ever done? If not (fingers crossed) what was?
Not by a long shot. The worst was with the telegraph about my picture book which is literally a 30 second read and the interviewer hadn't bothered to read it and instead would not stop grilling me on my opinions on racism in America. What an arse.
